A Tewkesbury man has been banned from parts of the town after being handed an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction (ASBI) led by our Tewkesbury Team.

Kevin Joyce, aged 32, has been given the order in a bid to curb his behaviour.

Joyce was involved in several violent incidents. Gloucestershire Police received a number of complaints about his actions towards members of the local community, including abusive and threatening behaviour and an incident where a man was hit over the head with a sledgehammer.

As a result, our team, working in partnership with officers from the Tewkesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team, were able to secure the injunction against him.

Under the injunction, Joyce is now forbidden from:

* Engaging in conduct which causes alarm, harassment or distress to any person in Tewkesbury.

* Using or threatening to use violence towards any person in Gloucestershire;

* Being in Tewkesbury Town Centre, at any time;

* Being in Priors Park, Tewkesbury at any time.

* Being in Walton Cardiff, Tewkesbury at any time.

This ASBI will remain live until 16th July 2027 and Joyce can be arrested if he breaches any part of it.

Members of the public should report any incidents involving Joyce to Gloucestershire Police, either through the website or on 101: https://orlo.uk/T2fJL

Solace will continue to work closely with partners from Gloucestershire Police and other key organisations in dedication to combatting anti-social behaviour.
