A Cheltenham man has been banned from parts of the town after being handed an Anti-Social Behaviour Injunction (ASBI) led by our Cheltenham team.
Nathan Hayward, aged 34, has been given the order in a bid to curb his behaviour. An interim ASBI was granted by Gloucester County Court on 3 July, which was made full and final on 13 August.
Over several weeks, Gloucestershire Police received a number of complaints about his actions towards members of the local community, including abusive and threatening behaviour.
As a result, our team, working in partnership with officers from the Cheltenham Neighbourhood Policing Team, were able to secure the injunction against him.
Under the injunction, Hayward is now forbidden from:
* Engaging in conduct which causes alarm, harassment or distress to any person in Cheltenham or Gloucester;
* Using or threatening to use violence towards any person in Gloucestershire;
* Being in Warwick Place, Cheltenham at any time;
* Being in Grove Street, Cheltenham at any time.
This ASBI will remain live until 3 July 2027 and Hayward can be arrested if he breaches any part of it.
